About the Role:
AnAccounting Leadplays a vital role in ensuring the accuracy efficiency and compliance of financial operations within a dynamic payment solutions environment. This role is focused on monitoring money movement performing reconciliations resolving discrepancies and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. It also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline processes enhance operational controls and improve the overall customer payment experience. By contributing to initiatives that simplify payment acceptance disbursement and management the Senior Accounting Specialist helps drive operational excellence and supports the transformation of outdated systems into modern efficient solutions.
What Youll Do
What We Expect From You
Education & Experience:
Bachelors degree in Business Finance Accounting or related field.
45 years of relevant experience (FinTech/Payments background is an advantage).
Knowledge & Skills:
Strong understanding of accounting operations GAAP principles and money movement processes.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP SUMIF Pivot Tables VBA etc.).
Excellent attention to detail documentation and reconciliation accuracy.
Strong problem-solving organizational and interpersonal skills.
Outstanding verbal and written communication.
Mindset & Attitude:
Proactive curious and eager to learn new tools systems and processes.
Able to address challenges ask questions and follow up on open items to ensure timely resolution.
Team player with the ability to collaborate across functions.
