The role :
As aData Analystat Leapworkyoullhelp shape how data fuels smarter decisions across the business. Our data team is building the data architecture to unify transform and connect information from many sources into a unified data a key role in building new data functionality from the ground up contributing to greenfield projects that define the foundation of our data turning complexity into clarityyoullenable the whole organization to execute with greater speed precision and impact. Role Responsibilities :
- Data Extraction & Preparation:Gather clean and structure data from multiple internal systems and sourcesworking within modern data environments such asMicrosoft Fabric and Azureto ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Reporting & Dashboarding:Build andmaintaindashboards and reports in Power BI (or similar tools) to visualize key metrics for business stakeholders.
- Data Quality Monitoring:Perform regular data validation checks to ensure completeness reliability and integrity across datasets.
- Ad-hoc Analysis:Support business teams by delivering quick-turnaround analyses that answer specific questions or test hypotheses.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders:Work closely with data engineersand functional teams to understand data needs and translate them into actionable insights.
- Documentation:Maintainclear documentation of data sourcesmetricsdefinitions and reporting logic for transparency and scalability.
- Continuous Learning:Stay curious about new tools techniques and AI-driven analytics capabilities to improve the teams analytical maturity.
Role Requirements:
- Experience:13 years of experiencefroma similar role.
- Data Handling:Comfortable extracting and manipulating data from multiple sources.
- Visualization Tools:Proficient with BI and visualization platforms such as Power BI Tableau or Looker; experienceworking withMicrosoft Fabricor similar cloud-based data platforms is a plus.
- Technical Skills:Strong SQL skills are essential withhands-on experience using Python R or a similar languagefor data manipulation and writing DAX in Power BI is alsorequired.
- Insight Generation:Skilled at translating data into actionable insights and clear business narratives.
- Attention to Detail:Maintainsaccuracy and precision when working with complex datasets.
- Growth Mindset:Eager to learn anddevelopdata storytelling and stakeholder engagement.
- Analytical Mindset:Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret complex data into simple meaningful insights.
- Collaboration:Comfortable working cross-functionally with business and technical stakeholders.
- Ownership:Proactive approach to building new data solutions and processes from scratch.
- Communication:Strong verbal and written communication skills to present findings clearly and effectively.
