Job Summary
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing warehouse related functions of handling merchandise and product incoming or outgoing including shipping receiving transferring stocking picking and pulling product for customers vendors and branch locations as required.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Performs inbound/ outbound freight handling shipping receiving and order fulfillment.
Accurately pick pack and distribute sales orders and transfers; maintain inventory accuracy through counts and discrepancy reporting.
Operate warehouse tools and material handling equipment safely while adhering to SOPs and PPE requirements.
Load unload move and stock materials efficiently; ensure products are secured and documented with proper bills of lading.
Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment; proactively identify and report hazards.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent
1 year of experience in warehousing or related functions
Strong aptitude for mathematical operations and numerical analysis
Physical Demands & Work Environment
This position requires approximately 4043 hours per week and involves routine physical activity including:
Frequent lifting of 2550 lbs. (up to 100 lbs. occasionally) and pushing/pulling loads up to 300 lbs.
Operation of forklifts and material handling equipment for extended periods (up to 6 hours daily)
Regular bending climbing squatting kneeling reaching and sustained use of hands arms and feet
Periods of sitting standing walking and twisting throughout the shift
