Job Title: Travel LPN Med-Surg/Telemetry
Location: Rochester NY 14621
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights 7:00 PM 7:00 AM 4x12s Every Other Weekend Required
Pay Rate: $1796 Weekly Gross
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Med-Surg/Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care demonstrate sound clinical judgment and effectively collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes in an acute care environment.
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced Med-Surg/Telemetry setting.
Accurately document assessments medications and care activities in the electronic medical record.
Collaborate with RNs and interdisciplinary team members to implement individualized patient care plans.
Monitor and report changes in patient condition promptly.
Ensure compliance with facility policies infection control standards and safety protocols.
Float between units as assigned and assist where needed.
Provide compassionate patient-centered care aligned with professional standards.
Requirements:
Active LPN License in the state of New York (Required).
Current BLS certification (AHA).
Minimum of 1 year of recent hospital experience within the last 2 years.
Acute care experience required; must be able to independently manage a full patient assignment.
Experience with Epic or other EMR systems preferred.
Excellent communication critical-thinking and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work 4x12-hour night shifts and every other weekend.
