Job Summary Details:

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Pit Tech to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating powered industrial trucks to load unload and move materials throughout the facility efficiently and safely.

Basic Qualifications:

Must be 18 years of age or older

No experience required and on the job training provided

No high school diploma GED or college degree required

Preferred Qualifications:

Customer service experience

1 year of similar work experience

Key Responsibilities

Operate forklifts and other PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) equipment to move products and materials.
Load and unload trucks stack and organize pallets and transport goods to designated areas.
Perform daily equipment inspections and report any issues or maintenance needs.
Follow all safety protocols and warehouse procedures.
Assist with inventory counts and cycle checks as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.

Basic Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
1 year of experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance preferably with PIT equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Basic computer skills for logging maintenance records.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 49 lbs.
Stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours per shift.
Frequently push pull squat bend and reach.
Work in environments with variable noise levels lighting conditions and temperature.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures.
Frequent standing walking bending and lifting.
Comfortable working around moving machinery and in high-traffic areas.
