Title: Server Assistant Le Depot Brasserie
Compensation: $7.25/hr tips; Benefits available for full-time employees
Location: Le Depot Brasserie; Park City Utah
Reef is a Utah-based vertically integrated investment and development firm founded in 2005 with three primary lines of business: Investments Real Estate and Lifestyle. Reefs team is currently involved in some of the most prominent development transactions in Utah and other targeted geographies across the United States.
Reef has partnered with a growing restaurant group led by James Beard Award Winning Chef Galen Zamarra located in the heart of Park City Utah an internationally renowned ski destination. Together we have developed two new concepts: a 100 seat brasserie and bar (Le Depot Brasserie) and a French pastry & coffee shop (Union Patisserie).
Position Overview:
The Server Assistant is essential to the smooth and efficient meal service within Le Depot. They ensure table orders are coursed correctly plated correctly and match the guests specifications as indicated on the kitchen ticket.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with the kitchen line to fire tickets and ensure an order is accurate and complete
- Set up the front side of the line with all necessary equipment and food items
- Develop an in-depth knowledge of the menu ingredients used and the preparation and cooking techniques used
- Communicate 86d menu items to front of house staff during the shift
Qualifications:
- 2 years serving experience in a fine dining restaurant preferred; or 1 year experience in a Server Assistant role
- Very strong communication skills
- Present a positive professional image
- Knowledge of fine dining cuisine; preferably French cuisine
- Utah Food Handlers certification
Physical Requirements
- Stand and walk for extended periods both in the kitchen and FOH areas.
- Exert physical effort in lifting stock and supply items (1-20 lbs.).
- Endure changes of temperature between indoor and outdoor environments; and the BOH
