We are a fast-growing car wash operation committed to delivering top-tier service and a spotless experience for our customers. Were seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join us as a 1099 contractor providing both scheduled and on-call support to keep our equipment running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance twice a month on car wash equipment (motors pumps conveyors hydraulic systems)
- Be available on-call for urgent repairs and troubleshooting
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues
- Maintain accurate service records and logs
- Coordinate with management for scheduling and project planning
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational guidelines
Requirements:
- Proven experience in mechanical maintenance preferably in a car wash or similar environment
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems hydraulics and pneumatics
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
- Must have your own tools and reliable transportation
- Must be able to bring an assistant if needed for specific products or projects
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Valid drivers license
- Availability for occasional weekend or emergency repairs
Compensation & Terms:
- $35$50 per hour based on skill and experience
- 1099 contract position
- Flexible scheduling for preventative maintenance
- On-call availability required
- Must have own tools
- Potential for long-term engagement based on performance
