Our district includes 6 elementary schools (Bridport Cornwall Middlebury Salisbury Shoreham and Weybridge) a High School and Middle School both located in Middlebury. You will be responsible to follow lesson plans manage classrooms effectively and instruct the students in the continued learning environment of a classroom are also seeking CDD qualified substitutes for our Preschool classrooms in Bridport Elementary or Mary Hogan School. For additional questions regarding Preschool please contact Kim Forbes at perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily in addition to the following:Education/Experience/Licenses. An individual must meet at least one of the following:- or be eligible to hold a valid teaching license in the state of Vermont or any other or be eligible to hold a valid RN or LPN license or other professional/technical license/certification issued by the state of Vermont that is applicable to the programs or services provided in the or be eligible to hold an undergraduate degree from an accredited college-Relevant experience and/or training that demonstrate fitness for substitute teaching through alternative methods to A B and C (above) as approved by the Superintendent or his/her designee.-Preschool subs must have completed or will be required to complete an additional background check and specialized training per the child Development Division. All substitutes will be on an as needed on-call basis. All accepted applicants are required to complete a Criminal Background Check (fees apply) and Mandatory online training.
