Overview

At Susquehanna we understand that technology is critical to the success of our this role you will maintain and improve our perimeter controls to defend against todays cyber threats. You will be responsible for managing our connectivity to multiple stock exchanges and critical business partners overseeing our firewall access deploying new solutions and investigating suspicious activity. Risk management is at the forefront of what we do. We are looking for someone who can engineer changes within our environment as well as understand the impact of their actions across our global enterprise.

Grow your Skills

We are looking for someone with a networking background who is excited to learn more about the security field. We provide you with the opportunity to learn and do project work with our Security Networking and Server experts. Youll need strong TCP/IP knowledge to get started but we are excited to teach you the rest!

Leadership Experience

Once you find your footing you will participate in a Production Lead rotation. The production lead is in charge of orchestrating the teams daily operations and sensitive maintenance activities. As production lead you are the main conduit to other technology / business teams during production issues or critical situations. You will not only gain creative problem-solving and delegation experience but will also lead our daily scrum to review the state of the environment

What were looking for

Bachelors degree in Information Security Information Technology Networking & Systems Administration or a similar technical discipline required
Strong grasp of TCP/IP networking operating systems fundamentals is required
Coding skills are required Python Perl Bash or PowerShell are preferred
Experience in a network security and/or systems administration function or a similar role is preferred
