Duration:40 hours per week
Shift Time: Specific days and hours to be determined. Must be available to work weekends and holidays on a rotational basis. Overtime may be required based on departmental needs.
Pay Rate: $60hrs - $65hrs

Key Responsibilities
- Perform radiologic and interventional imaging procedures as directed by radiologists.
- Greet and prepare patients for examinations explaining the procedures and ensuring comfort and understanding.
- Position patients accurately and set appropriate exposure factors to achieve high-quality diagnostic images.
- Practice strict radiation safety and protection standards to minimize patient and staff exposure.
- Operate imaging equipment efficiently and effectively reporting any malfunctions to supervisors.
- Process images and ensure accurate data entry into the Radiology Information System for documentation and billing.
- Follow department procedures and protocols as outlined in the Policy and Procedure Manual.
- Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure accurate timely completion of diagnostic studies.
Qualifications
- Education: AAS in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
- Licensure/Registration: Must hold or be eligible for a New York State Radiologic Technologist License/Registration.
- Certification: ARRT certification required (must be obtained within one year of appointment).
- Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of progressive technical experience.
- Additional Requirements: Current CPR certification and registration certification for contrast injection.
