Job Title:Radiologic Technologist Interventional
Location:Syracuse NY
Type: Contract
Duration:40 hours per week
Shift Time: Specific days and hours to be determined. Must be available to work weekends and holidays on a rotational basis. Overtime may be required based on departmental needs.
Pay Rate: $60hrs - $65hrs

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Radiologic Technologist Interventional for an exciting job in Syracuse NY.

Key Responsibilities

Perform radiologic and interventional imaging procedures as directed by radiologists.
Greet and prepare patients for examinations explaining the procedures and ensuring comfort and understanding.
Position patients accurately and set appropriate exposure factors to achieve high-quality diagnostic images.
Practice strict radiation safety and protection standards to minimize patient and staff exposure.
Operate imaging equipment efficiently and effectively reporting any malfunctions to supervisors.
Process images and ensure accurate data entry into the Radiology Information System for documentation and billing.
Follow department procedures and protocols as outlined in the Policy and Procedure Manual.
Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure accurate timely completion of diagnostic studies.

Qualifications

Education: AAS in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
Licensure/Registration: Must hold or be eligible for a New York State Radiologic Technologist License/Registration.
Certification: ARRT certification required (must be obtained within one year of appointment).
Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of progressive technical experience.
Additional Requirements: Current CPR certification and registration certification for contrast injection.
