Job Summary
What you will accomplish together with us
- Supports manufacturing operations within the Manufacturing Department as defined by Production Team Lead and Value Stream Manager.
- Troubleshoot process & equipment problems promptly to minimize Manufacturing downtime.
- Assemble products to support Manufacturing Assembly teams in order to achieve daily production rates given by the Production Manager.
- Realize and control all his/her/their production operations with the requested quality while respecting performance constraints and requirements (safety security and environment)
- Know and follow the safety rules related to equipment and people
- Report with rigor and precision of their production to the shift leader / team leader
- Ensure the cleanliness and permanent storage of the work environment
What will convince us
- High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelors degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing position including:
- Assembling complex mechanical or electronic systems
- Troubleshooting and testing systems
- Configuring/installing software for new assembly setups
- Strong ability to interpret technical documentation and perform basic calculations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint)
- Excellent computer literacy and technical aptitude
- Knowledge of materials products equipment and associated processes
- Excellent knowledge of quality safety security and environment standards & procedures
- Experience in transmitting scope of work to Production Manager
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate instructions to other team members.
- Highly effective interpersonal skills and able to work in a team environment - team spirit.
