Job Summary
Position Title: Pharmacy Technician
Location: Brooklyn NY 11235
Type: Contract 40 hrs/week(8 hours/day 5 days/week)
Pay Rate: $28 $30/hour
Schedule: Flexible shifts (mornings mid-days or nights) with weekend availability required.
Job Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is Seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists with medication preparation distribution and inventory management under direct supervision. Must ensure compliance with all Federal State and local pharmacy regulations. Role involves rotation across various shifts and departments.
Responsibilities
Prepare and distribute medications accurately under pharmacist supervision.
Rotate shifts and assignments to meet department needs.
Deliver and return medication carts and supplies.
Operate and troubleshoot automated dispensing systems.
Maintain inventory and follow all regulatory standards.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum 1 year as a Pharmacy Technician or related role.
Education: High School Diploma/GED required.
License: Active Registered Pharmacy Technician license from NYSED with primary source verification.
Preferred: Experience in pharmacy dispensing sterile processing or IV room settings.
