Job Skills / Requirements

SUMMARY: Responsible for the overall cleaning sanitation and maintenance of the facilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES: Includes but not limited to the following.

• Ensure safety by using correct safety postings and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when needed.
• Clean restrooms (empty trash receptacles fill dispensers sweep mop floors clean glass sinks and toilets).
• Dust mop.
• Detail restrooms.
• Clean vents and fixtures in restrooms.
• Dust and clean entrance door thresholds frames and edging.
• Perform other similar and related duties as assigned by the Group Leader.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals in English.

REASONING: Ability to apply common understanding to carry out uninvolved written and oral instructions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to walk. The employee frequently is required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; handle or feel reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop kneel crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to thirty (30) pounds. Specific vision abilities required for this job include close distance and color vision.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions moving mechanical parts outside weather conditions and extreme heat. The noise level in the environment is usually loud.
