Job Summary

Job Title: Travel RN Stepdown
Location: Rochester NY 14621-3099
Unit: Stepdown / Progressive Care
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM 7:30 AM) every other weekend required
Weekly Pay: $2996.16 (Gross)

Job Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality nursing care in a Stepdown IMCU or Progressive Care setting.
Utilize Epic electronic medical record system for documentation and patient care coordination.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain clinical competency to float to ICU or Medical-Surgical units as needed.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years recent acute care experience in Stepdown IMCU or Progressive Care settings.
Epic experience required.
Prior travel nurse experience in a tertiary or high-acuity hospital preferred.

Float Requirement:

Float required based on competency and facility need.
Potential float units include ICU or Medical-Surgical.

Required Certifications & Licensure:

BLS (AHA) Basic Life Support
ACLS (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support
NIHSS National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale
Active New Jersey RN License or Multi-State Compact License
