Ingredion is seeking a motivated studentto join as aQualityInternfor summer 2026. In this position you will be responsible for completing several smallQualityprojects for our team.You will be responsible for performing analytical tests independently and accurately to support operations in a safe and timely fashion.You will also apply concepts learned inphysicalsciencerelated classes to actual manufacturing of industrial ingredients.
What you will do:
- Perform chemistry lab tests and compare results to analytical testing
- Develop information data collection system(s) that considers Quality Management System requirements
- Build the system(s) in a highly visual manner
- Build and maintain system(s) for ease of use
Who you are:
- Have good planning organizing and multi-tasking skills with the ability to work independently and build relationships with team members
- Exhibit undivided and continuous attention to details and the assignments
- Have a willingness to learn quickly and work within a dynamic environment with good analytical skills
- Have effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Interest in learning technology and managing information and data
What you will bring:
Progress towards aBachelors DegreeinChemistryFood Science Chemical Engineeringor other science related field with junior standing preferred.
Ability to work 40hrs per week during the summer internship term
An assertive creative ambitious and positive thinking mindset
Ability to tackle problems identify improvement opportunities implement action plans and follow-up to ensure results
Basic computer skills and proven ability to use programs such as Excel Word and PowerPoint
Familiaritywith working in a lab environmentpreferred
To be eligible for consideration candidates must:
Currently possess unrestricted authorization to work in the United States. Ingredion does not intend to sponsor work visas with respect to this position or to provide this position as OPT or CPT.
Be a currently enrolled student in a Bachelors Degree Program. If currently enrolled in an undergrad status must have completed at least two years of coursework with status as a sophomore junior or non-graduating senior.
Pay Range: $22-31/hour

Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).
