Job Summary

Liberty FCU is currently seeking a Scanning Specialist to efficiently perform quality control procedures and accurately image/scan all incoming documents. The candidate must have the ability to work independently and as a team. Attention to detail time-management computer skills organization and prioritizing of work are essential to this position. Duties and Responsibilities:

Must work well with others and be a supportive asset to the department
Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time and walk to other departments as needed.
Participate in all the areas of the scan to shred process: Scan Index Quality Control Log and Shred in accordance with each departments retention requirements. This includes but is not limited to: Accounting Asset Protection Card Services Deposit Operations Direct Lending Indirect Lending Loan Servicing Mortgages Specialty Accounts etc.
Scan index quality control log and shred historical documents from all areas of the credit union.
Scan proof of insurance documents in a timely manner.
Assist various branches and departments with scanning questions.
Contact individuals regarding documents needed for scanning via phone or e-mail.
Display discretion with confidential member information.
Knowledge of Excel and Word is a plus.
Understand retention system Nautilus and any other system used to efficiently store documents.
Any other duties assigned by my supervisor or management.
