Job Summary
-Sweep vacuum and wet mop all classrooms offices and other areas as often as necessary to maintain proper cleanliness. Maintain clean hallways and stairways.-Remove snow sanding and salting as necessary during the winter months.-Make minor repairs as directed by the Director of Maintenance.-Clean all rooms that may be used by the public and school groups from evening functions.-Wash kitchen floor daily.-Thoroughly clean and disinfect all bathrooms daily.-Empty all garbage containers from cafeteria and wash daily.-Empty all wastebaskets daily and wash.-Clean teachers rooms daily.-Be responsible for putting out all lights at the end of the day or evening functions.-Performs other duties as required. -This job description lists the general duties and is not intended to list every specific function required.
