Job Description

As a DevOps youll join our highly skilled R&D team on an online booking tool (OBT) as well as an expense tool for business travel through a SaaS deployment.

It allows a user to search and book a business trip in a user-friendly and efficient web application. It gives access to different transport modes and travel suppliers within the travel policy set by his company. It then gives them the opportunity to claim additional expenses for reimbursement. The service allows for capturing VAT computing policies and reimbursement rules and much more.

To modernize our platform we are moving our production testing and development environments into AWS taking the opportunity to improve our processes along the way. Teams from a variety of countries are contributing to the development of this application creating a requirement to isolate this new environment from the existing networks for security data protection and law compliance.

While you would be part of a scrum team of 4 DevOps you would bring a stronger mindset and skill sets around the development of the environment and the access from Indias new development centre. This team supports all other teams in their various need and requirements setting up development environment and services while improving the paved road.

Job Responsibilities:

Work in a SCRUM team
Design develop and test new deployments and environments
Participate in the evolution and maintenance of existing systems
Contribute to the secure design of functionalities
Implement pipelines and infrastructure as code with a focus on maintainability and re-usability
Propose new ideas to enhance the environment CI/CD pipeline and deployments
Participate in training and process evolution

Confirmed experience of AWS and CloudFormation
Experience in Python
Experience in GitHub Actions (or similar) and Infrastructure as Code
Experience in Containerization
Knowledge of scalability and reliability principles is a plus
Basic security knowledge including understanding VPC and writing NCR
Real desire to master new technologies
Team spirit analytical and synthesis skills
Passion Software Craftsmanship culture of excellence Clean Code
Fluency in English (multicultural and international team)
