Pay Rate: $30 - $34 per hour; (Negotiable based on experience)
Shifts Available:
- 7:00 AM 3:00 PM
- 3:00 PM 11:00 PM
Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team in a PRN (as-needed) capacity. As an LPN you will provide quality nursing care to patients under the supervision of registered nurses (RNs) and physicians ensuring the highest standard of patient care in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care including taking vital signs administering medications performing treatments and assisting with daily activities.
- Monitor and assess patients conditions documenting changes and reporting concerns to the supervising RN or physician.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate up-to-date patient records and documentation in compliance with facility policies and regulations.
- Ensure a clean safe and comfortable environment for patients at all times.
- Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families.
- Adhere to all facility policies procedures and standards of practice.
- Assist in patient education and counseling regarding health and wellness.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold HIPAA standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Current and valid LPN license in the state of Connecticut.
- CPR/BLS certification (required).
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
- Strong clinical communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts as needed.
