Employment Type: PRN
Pay Rate: $30 - $34 per hour; (Negotiable based on experience)
Shifts Available:
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
- Evening Shift: 3:00 PM 11:30 PM
- Night Shift: 11:00 PM 7:00 AM
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a PRN capacity. As an LPN you will play a crucial role in providing direct care to patients under the supervision of Registered Nurses and physicians. This position offers a flexible schedule with shift options to meet your availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Provide direct patient care including administering medications monitoring vital signs dressing wounds and assisting with daily living activities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the nursing team to ensure the highest standards of care are met for all patients.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records including medical history treatments and any changes in condition.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with patients families and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Assistance: Help with patient mobility and the transition of care when necessary.
- Safety Protocols: Follow established protocols for infection control patient safety and confidentiality.
Required Qualifications:
- Current and valid LPN license in the state of Maryland.
- CPR/BLS certification (required).
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
- Strong clinical communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts as needed.
