Pay Rate: $30 - $34 per hour; (Negotiable based on experience)
Shifts Available:
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM 3:00 PM
- Evening Shift: 3:00 PM 11:00 PM
- Night Shift: 11:00 PM 7:00 AM
Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate dedicated and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team on a PRN (as-needed) basis. The LPN will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a variety of settings including skilled nursing facilities hospitals and outpatient clinics. The role requires flexibility with shifts and the ability to work independently while providing compassionate care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses (RNs) or physicians.
- Monitor patient condition document changes and communicate effectively with other healthcare team members.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with healthcare protocols.
- Assist with patient assessments development of care plans and patient education.
- Provide wound care assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and help patients with mobility as needed.
- Ensure patient safety and well-being by following all relevant healthcare policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records.
- Respond to patient concerns and ensure their comfort during treatment or procedures.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care delivery.
Required Qualifications:
- Current and valid LPN license in the state of Maryland.
- CPR/BLS certification (required).
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
- Strong clinical communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts as needed.
