Job Description:

We are currently seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team on a PRN (as-needed) basis. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care and support to residents/patients assisting with daily living activities and ensuring comfort and safety during their shifts.

Responsibilities:

Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing dressing grooming toileting and feeding
Monitor and report changes in patient health behavior or appearance to nursing staff
Take and record vital signs such as temperature blood pressure pulse and respiration
Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
Maintain cleanliness and order in patient rooms and common areas
Assist in patient mobility including turning repositioning and transferring
Document care provided accurately and in a timely manner
Follow infection control and safety procedures at all times

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent
Valid Connecticut CNA certification required
CPR/BLS certification preferred
Minimum 6 months of CNA experience
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
