Job Summary
Job Summary (List Format):
- Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients with cancer and other diseases
- Ensure accurate patient positioning and safe delivery of treatments using linear accelerators (Varian True Beam required)
- Operate CT SIM Biograph mCt equipment for simulation and planning
- Educate patients about their treatment plans and possible side effects
- Monitor and assess patients for reactions and side effects during and after treatment
- Collaborate with physicians physicists and other healthcare staff as needed
- Maintain and adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards
- Maintain accurate treatment records and documentation
- Requires ARRT Registry Ohio Department of Health (ODH) licensure and BLS certification
- 5 years of experience preferred; will consider candidates with less experience
- Note: No holiday requests for time off (RTO) allowed; November start
