Job Summary (List Format):
- Position: CT Technologist (Level I Trauma Center)
- Contract: 26 weeks
- Shift Details:
- 3 days per week (12-hour shifts: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM)
- Every 3rd weekend rotation (Friday/Saturday 3:30 PM 2:00 AM)
- 24-hour on-call shift (Saturday or Sunday every 6 weeks 5:00 AM 5:00 AM; must be available within 1 hour)
- Work Setting:
- Emergency Room (ER)
- Inpatient
- Operating Room
- Level I Trauma Center
- Adult ICU
- Stroke Accredited Community Hospital
- Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of CT procedures (abdomen pelvis head/neck chest spine musculoskeletal brain perfusion)
- Efficiently operate CT equipment and deliver high-quality imaging
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
- Collaborate with healthcare teams in emergent situations
- Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to regulatory standards
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond promptly to emergencies
- Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of CT technologist experience
- Current BLS and ARRT certifications (AART Advanced preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced high-pressure environment
- Flexible to work rotating shifts weekends and on-call duties
