Job Summary

The PLM Administrator is responsible for managing maintaining and supporting the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system to ensure seamless operation and integration with other enterprise applications. The role involves user administration system configuration troubleshooting performance optimization and coordination with cross-functional teams to support engineering and business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and support the PLM environment (e.g. Siemens Teamcenter 3DEXPERIENCE Windchill or Agile PLM).
  • Manage user access roles privileges and security settings within the PLM system.
  • Perform system configuration data migration and updates based on business requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain system performance availability and data integrity.
  • Coordinate with IT Engineering and Manufacturing teams to ensure PLM aligns with organizational workflows.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve PLM-related issues errors and integration challenges.
  • Support and maintain integrations with CAD tools (NX CATIA SolidWorks) and ERP systems (SAP Infor XA).
  • Develop and maintain documentation including system procedures workflows and training materials.
  • Participate in PLM upgrades patches and testing to ensure compatibility and smooth rollout.
  • Provide end-user support and training to improve PLM adoption and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with vendors or technical teams for customizations enhancements and API development.
  • Ensure data security compliance and version control within the PLM ecosystem.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science or related field.
  • 4 years of experience in PLM system administration and support.
  • Hands-on experience with Teamcenter 3DEXPERIENCE Windchill or equivalent PLM tools.
  • Strong understanding of CAD integrations (NX CATIA SolidWorks).
  • Knowledge of ERP interfaces (SAP Infor XA Oracle etc.).
  • Experience in PLM configuration data model management and workflow setup.
  • Familiarity with SQL scripting and API usage for automation or integration.
  • Excellent problem-solving analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional global teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Teamcenter ITK BMIDE and Active Workspace administration.
  • Exposure to PLM-CAD-ERP integrations and data migration projects.
  • Understanding of engineering change management and BOM/BOS processes.
  • Certification or formal training in PLM system administration.
