Job Summary

1	Role	Mainframe MQ Administrator
2	Required Technical Skill Set	Mainframe MQ Admin

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have

Experience in IBM MQ product installation upgrades maintenance configurations and troubleshooting.
Expertise in administrating alert setup and monitoring the message process using tools like MQ explorer Omegamon for MQ and TEPS.
Design the MQ architecture pattern for the message processing flow as per the new application requirement
Defining the MQ objects queues channel process definition Topic etc .
Skilled at executing IBM MQ utilities to handle the MQ queue messages(backup deleting a particular records etc..)

Good-to-Have

Good understanding of messaging interfaces and connections to the IBM other products (such as CICS DB2 IMS..) and third party application servers.
Perform MQ online monitoring investigate MQ CPU usage using SMF statistics analyze
Nice to have knowledge with MQSeries and MQClients on distributed platforms.
Nice to have knowledge Mainrame zOS JCL VSAM ISPF and COBOL.
IBM and ISV Vendor Coordination for Ticketing Incidents/Problems SW downloads Escalations
