Job Description:
Liquid Personnel is recruiting an experienced Supervising Social Worker to join our clients Long-Term Team in Newcastle.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children young people and their families. You will provide high-quality support and supervision to foster carers helping to ensure the best possible outcomes for children in care.
In this role youll manage a small caseload meet statutory responsibilities and work collaboratively with carers and professionals in a supportive environment. The position offers flexible working arrangements and regular supervision to support your professional development.
What will your responsibilities be
- Provide supervision and support to foster carers ensuring compliance with fostering regulations.
- Undertake assessments reviews and care planning for children in foster placements.
- Deliver statutory social work services in line with legislation and council procedures.
- Liaise with partner agencies to coordinate support for children and carers.
- Maintain accurate case records and reports to professional standards.
- Participate in reflective supervision and contribute to service development.

Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have
- Social Work England registration
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Full UK driving licence
- Degree in Social Work (or equivalent)
- Post-qualified experience in fostering or childrens services
