Role Overview
The Shift Supervisor oversees warehouse transport and inventory activities ensuring that operations run efficiently safely and in compliance with company standards. This position involves leading a team maintaining stock accuracy and driving performance to meet operational targets.
Key Responsibilities

Manage shift operations including receiving picking packing dispatch and returns.

Allocate staff and resources to meet workload demands.

Monitor inventory accuracy perform cycle counts and resolve discrepancies.

Maintain compliance with safety housekeeping and operational standards (5S).

Ensure on-time dispatch and adherence to delivery schedules.

Lead train and develop staff for continuous improvement and performance.
-
Prepare shift reports KPI updates and communicate effectively with management.
Requirements

Certificate or Diploma in Logistics Warehousing or Supply Chain Management (NQF 56).

Minimum 3 years experience in a warehouse or logistics supervisory role.

Strong knowledge of SAP/ERP systems and warehouse processes.

Proven leadership problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to work shifts and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
