Job Summary
Job Description
A leader in sustainable energy solutions is looking for an ambitious talented and motivated Graduate Software Developer to join their growing engineering team. This is an opportunity to work on meaningful projects learn from experienced professionals and build solutions that directly contribute to a cleaner energy future.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain software applications that support energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.
- Work with real-time data and IoT-enabled systems to optimise performance and enhance user experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers designers and energy specialists.
- Participate in code reviews technical discussions and problem-solving sessions.
- Continuously learn and apply new technologies frameworks and tools relevant to the role.
Requirements:
- A recent or soon-to-be graduate with a degree in Engineering Computer Science Software Engineering or a related discipline
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g. Python JavaScript/TypeScript C#)
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a willingness to explore innovative solutions
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
- A genuine interest in technology and its application in the renewable energy sector as well as and interest in engineering utilities or energy asset management subject matter
Preferred Skills (Advantageous):
- Experience or exposure to: Google Cloud Platform BigQuery TypeScript React Python Git
- Familiarity with IoT systems electrical engineering concepts or data visualisation tools
- Previous project work internships or personal software development projects
