As a Brain Injury - Direct Support Professional (DSP) youll play a crucial role in supporting and caring for our residents helping them lead fulfilling and independent lives. Youll provide compassionate assistance and supervision ensuring their safety and well-being while contributing to the smooth operation of our program. This role requires you to be a positive role model advocate and communicator working closely with residents families and our care team.

Responsibilities
Examples of job duties include:
- Performing personal care tasks including feeding ambulation and medical monitoring
- Assist with fostering positive relationships between individuals served and their housemates
- Ensuring client safety and maintaining a safe environment
- Encouraging self-help activities
- Accompanying clients to scheduled appointments
Qualifications
Position requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Ability to work in a group home home-like setting
- Ability to communicate (verbally and written) with all levels of personnel internal and external
- No disqualifying criminal convictions
