Precision Metal Cutter (2nd Shift)

Position Overview
An experienced Precision Metal Cutter is needed for a full-time 2nd shift role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position involves working with advanced cutting machinery and collaborating with engineers and production teams to meet tight tolerances and performance targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laser cutting CNC operations and other high-precision metal fabrication techniques.

Key Responsibilities
Operate CNC and laser cutting machines with a focus on accuracy quality and efficiency
Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure precise cutting operations
Manage complex high-volume projects in a fast-paced setting
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet project timelines
Perform quality inspections and adjustments to ensure adherence to required tolerances
Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives
Maintain clean organized and safe workspaces according to safety standards
Provide guidance and support to less experienced team members

Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in precision metal cutting in a manufacturing environment
Proficient in CNC and laser cutting operations
Strong understanding of technical drawings and fabrication standards
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality results
Dependable with a strong work ethic and consistent attendance
Safety-conscious with knowledge of workplace safety regulations

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with a variety of metal types and cutting thicknesses
Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean 5S etc.)
Prior mentorship or leadership experience within a production team
