Job Title : Operations Support Specialist
Location : Remote (Philippines)
Hours : Full-time (1pm to 5pm CST) Monday - Sunday (20 hours)
Salary : $600 to $700 per month based on performance
We are seeking a reliable detail-oriented Operations Support Specialist to assist in the day-to-day backend operations of a growing self-storage facility business. This is a part-time remote role ideally suited for someone based in the Philippines who is tech-savvy organized and thrives on keeping operations running smoothly behind the scenes.
This is not a customer-facing role instead you will work closely with leadership and on-ground staff to coordinate vendors track repairs handle follow-ups and streamline internal communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with vendors and maintenance crews for repairs cleaning and general facility upkeep
- Track repair tickets maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks
- Serve as the communication bridge between field personnel and company leadership
- Organize and maintain internal records task trackers and checklists (primarily in Excel)
- Assist with miscellaneous operational tasks as needed to support day-to-day functions
- Monitor and manage messages (email/text) for updates or issues requiring escalation
- Implement or improve communication workflows (e.g. explore potential use of Slack or alternatives
Tools Youll Use
- Email & text messaging (primary communication tools)
- Excel or Google Sheets
- Slack (potential future implementation)
- Hummingbird (Tenant Inc.) familiarity is a plus but not required
Ideal Candidate
- Based in the Philippines with stable internet and ability to work 15 PM CST
- Excellent written communication skills (clear concise professional)
- Highly organized proactive and dependable
- Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
- Strong familiarity with productivity tools (Excel/Sheets email messaging apps)
- Prior experience in operations remote admin support or property management is a plus
- Bonus: Experience with Hummingbird (Tenant Inc.) or similar platforms
