Job Summary
Were seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join the FinTech Tribe at Mews. Youll play a central role in building the financial infrastructure that powers hospitality. Covering areas such as embedded payments financial automation multi-currency settlement compliance and future fintech services. Our mission is to make payments and financial workflows as seamless as booking a ride in an app: invisible automated and global.
Your mission should you choose to accept it:
- Collaborate with product managers designers QA and otherstakeholders to understand project requirements and translate theminto technical specifications.
- Design and develop software solutions for our platform focusing onhigh availability scalability and multi-regional support
- Develop backend services Core and deploy on Azureusing services such as App Service Azure SQL Cosmos DB Redisand others
- Develop front-end applications using React & Redux JavaScript & TypeScript
- Implement continuous integration and deployment pipelines usingGitHub and Azure DevOps
- Innovate and execute solutions on a daily basis working oninitiatives using a wide range of technologies
- Learn and contribute in multiple technologies reducingdependencies and enabling faster more frictionless development
- Take ownership of projects and gradually take ownership of somepart of the product
- Participate in the day-to-day activities of the team including stand-ups and retro meetings
Youll be a great fit if you bring a few of the below with you:
- Strong understanding of at least one technology (.NET React CSS Javascript Microservices)
- Practical skills in a wide set of technologies (.NET React Typescript SQL DevOps CI/CD SRE)
- Demonstrated experience owning projects
- Active experience with leading development teams is an advantage
- Effective communication in English
