We currently have an exciting opportunity for aRegistered Practical Nurseto join ourSurgical Day Careteam in theSurgical Program.
Employment Status: Temporary Part Time
Duration: April 2027 - subject to change as per Article 3 Management Rights.
Hours of Work: Must be able to work staggered shifts between the hours of 06:30 and 21:30 hrs from Monday to Friday including but not limited to days afternoons and evenings (subject to change as per Article 3 Management Rights)
Location: Humber River Health Wilson Site
Labour Group: NOWU
Reporting Relationship: Manager Surgical Pre-Screening Pre-op & Surgical Daycare
Hourly Rate: $36.929 - $37.466
Responsibilities:
- Scrubbing duties
- Functions as part of the surgical team
Requirements:
- Graduate from a recognized Registered Practical Nursing two year diploma program.
- Current Registered Practical Nurse registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Minimum of 2 years recentsurgical experience required
- Current BCLS certification.
- Demonstrated good organizational skills and problem solving skills required.
- Demonstrated good interpersonal skills with an ability to work well with a variety of staff patients and visitors
- Excellent attendance and discipline free record required.
