We currently have an exciting opportunity for aRegistered Practical Nurseto join ourSurgical Day Careteam in theSurgical Program.

Employment Status: Temporary Part Time
Duration:
April 2027 - subject to change as per Article 3 Management Rights.
Hours of Work:
Must be able to work staggered shifts between the hours of 06:30 and 21:30 hrs from Monday to Friday including but not limited to days afternoons and evenings (subject to change as per Article 3 Management Rights)

$36.929 - $37.466

Responsibilities:

  • Scrubbing duties
  • Functions as part of the surgical team

Requirements:

  • Graduate from a recognized Registered Practical Nursing two year diploma program.
  • Current Registered Practical Nurse registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Minimum of 2 years recentsurgical experience required
  • Current BCLS certification.
  • Demonstrated good organizational skills and problem solving skills required.
  • Demonstrated good interpersonal skills with an ability to work well with a variety of staff patients and visitors
  • Excellent attendance and discipline free record required.
