Accounts Receivable/Billing Specialist Insurance Brokerage (Fully Remote)
About the Role:
Our client a leading retail insurance brokerage is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable/Billing Specialist to join their accounting team. This role requires strong attention to detail and experience with EPIC. You will handle the receivables and will also help with some segregation of duties determined by the Controller.
Key Responsibilities:
- Invoice all premiums endorsements audits and cancellation premiums via account manager activities.
- Post daily cash receipts via bank deposits third party payment batches and financed funds.
- Maintain accounts receivable report research payment discrepancies promptly.
- Create activities to generate return premium refunds to the client or finance company when applicable.
- Other accounting tasks as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Insurance background and EPIC experience a must.
- Experience in billing and accounts receivable.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to problem-solve and work independently.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work within deadlines.
