JOB DESCRIPTION

Full-Time

Maternity Leave (duration of the 2025-26 academic year)

Specific Duties:

• Teaching Mathematics 7 Science 7 and/or possibly other courses as one of our Grade Seven homeroom teachers and as part of our Middle School
• Ability to work cooperatively with colleagues within and across the school
• Full Participation in student-learning and co-curricular activities outside of the school day
• Strong working understanding of differentiated instruction as it applies to teaching in an all-boys school
• Strong working knowledge of current pedagogy sound assessment practices and learning empowered by technology
• Experience with Google Classroom and/or FSA implementation is an asset
• Work experience in supporting neurodiverse students and students with IEPs is essential
• Experience and ability in coaching Grade 11/12 Varsity Basketball is essential

Extra-Curricular:

• Experience or willingness to coach will be prioritized
• Demonstrated commitment to co-curricular endeavours is an expectation.

Priority Consideration will be given to candidates who possess the following:

• Current pastoral reference confirming that he/she is a practicing Roman Catholic
• Certificate of Qualification issued by the BC Ministry of Education

Salary Range: $62000-$110000 dependent on experience and qualifications
