Job Summary
Phlebotomist
Schedule: this is a full-time day/evening shift position that willwork 812-hour shifts depending on schedule. Schedules include: 6:00 am to 4:30 pm; 8:00 am to 6:30 pm and 12 pm to 10:30 pm.

How youll contribute
A Phlebotomist who excels in this role:
- Collects specimens per state licensure greets customers and works collaboratively with other departments.
- Labels processes and delivers specimens for testing.
- Collects blood specimens using age-appropriate techniques.
- Maintains equipment and medical supplies.
- Assists with coordinating and conducting blood drives including interviewing and screening donors.

What were looking for
- Required Licensure: NV Department of Health and Human Services - Laboratory Assistant License (requires application submitted upon hire. Status pending for up to 6 months) or must attend a certified Phlebotomy program to obtain licensure. NV Department of Health and Human Services - Point of Care Analyst within one year of hire.
- Required Certification: American Heart Association BLS within 60 days upon hire.
