Job Summary

Together Dental in Ipswich are looking for an Locum Dentist to join our busy team on a part-time basis.

The practice opening hours arefrom 8.30am to 5.00pm. There is a 25 UDA day target and you will be able to develop your private with the remaining time at a 50% private rate. There isaflexible approach to NHS and private zoning andan inclusive friendly and supportive team to enable you to deliver excellent patient care.

We can offer;

Potential private earnings from 60000
Day rate of 450 with a target of 25 UDAs with an additional amount per UDA for overachievement
50% private rate
3 days days available out of Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday from 8.30am - 5.00pm

You will be joining a team with the superb support of:

Our established patient base
Access to our clinical support group
Available Head of Operationsand Clinical Director
Support with any training to increase the services you offer (possiblefinancial help too)
Lead clinician on hand to help discuss cases and patient issues and actively encourage this.
Access to supporting specialists for more complex cases
We have a successful and robust internal marketing system which actively promotes individual dentists special interests to direct patients for specific treatments.

About the Candidate

To be considered for this position you will need the following:

Registerable dental qualification
Full registration with the General Dental Council
NHS performer number

and skills and experience including:

High levels of competency in dentistry
Ability to demonstrate empathy with patientsrequiring special care dentistry.
Good communication and presentation skills bothwritten and verbal.
Appropriate IT skills.
Ability to plan and organise.
Ability to demonstrate understanding of the issuesrelating to the management of clinical dentalservices.
Ability to lead and work as part of a healthcare team.
Ability to manage change effectively
Demonstrable teaching skills
Understanding of the legal and ethical frameworkwithin which dentists practice particularly thosepertinent to special care dentistry.
Wide experience of primary dental care.
