Schedule: 3-12s/day shift. Required to take 10 days of call. Rotate weekends for call.

How youll contribute

A Cardiovascular Technician who excels in this role:

• Operates specialized equipment for use in diagnostic and vascular tests and therapeutic interventions performed in the Cardiac/Vascular Cath Lab

• Scrubs at the tableside and monitors patients as assigned.

• Transports patients as necessary.

• Prepares equipment and supplies. Selects appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters.

• Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures on equipment.

• Troubleshoots resolves and/or reports equipment malfunctions as necessary.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

What were looking for

• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) - Required to be obtained within 90 days of employment if not current upon hire.

• Graduate of a Program in Discipline (Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Technology) Preferred

• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with a thorough working knowledge of practices and experiences in a Cardiac/Vascular Cath Lab - Preferred.

• One year of cardiovascular lab or special procedures experience - Preferred.
