Position Overview
The Compliance & Training Specialist / Quality Assurance Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring Augustine Angels meets all state and federal program requirements while maintaining the highest standards of quality care. This part-time position oversees staff onboarding training documentation and quality monitoring for statewide PAS operations.
This role is remote and flexible ideal for an experienced professional seeking a meaningful part-time position with the potential to grow into full-time as the program expands.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee onboarding credentialing and background checks for new hires.
- Develop schedule and track initial and annual staff training (participant rights emergency procedures HIPAA etc.).
- Maintain organized compliance and personnel files in accordance with Delaware DHSS standards.
- Conduct quarterly quality assurance reviews and participant satisfaction surveys.
- Audit service records timesheets and incident reports for completeness and accuracy.
- Investigate participant complaints and coordinate corrective actions as needed.
- Support the Project Manager with compliance reporting and DHSS audits.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelors degree preferred (Human Services Healthcare Admin or related field).
- 2 years of experience in compliance quality assurance or staff training (home care or healthcare preferred).
- Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Must pass a background check per Delaware DHSS requirements.
