The University of Chicago Department of Statistics invites applications for the position of William H. Kruskal Instructor. We seek recent or expected Ph.D. graduates doing advanced research with a connection to applied mathematics computational mathematics or machine learning. Kruskal Instructor responsibilities include engagement in independent research and teaching up to three quarter-long courses per year. The appointment is for a term of up to three years.
