Quality Staffing Inc.is seeking an experienced Tufting Mechanic to join one of our top clients in the carpet manufacturing industry. This is a full-time temp-to-hire opportunity with excellent growth potential. Hours and pay rate is based on experience.
Job Summary
The Tufting Mechanic will be responsible for performing setup maintenance and repair of tufting machines to ensure efficient production and quality output. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude problem-solving skills and experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Set up tufting machines according to style specifications.
- Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on tufting machinery.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and quality issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to maintain production goals.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean organized work area.
- Complete all job duties with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of experience with tufting machine repair and maintenance.
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret style specifications.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
