Job Summary
Capital City Club
Valet
Founded in 1883 Capital City Clubisone of the oldest private clubs in the South. Located in Brookhaven Capital City Club is home to an 18-hole golf course swimming pool tennis courts fitness center and multiple dining outlets.
We are currently looking for a Valet attendant with open availability. The capital city Club offers uniforms hot meals free parking and a fantastic team-oriented and friendly environment. The perfect individual for this position is a team player who is energetic and enthusiastic.
Primary responsibilities
This individual enhances the member and guest experience and provides a warm welcome to everyone carefully and efficiently parks Vehicles and maintains traffic flow for all incoming traffic.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests to the establishment and offer professional valet services
- Accommodate guests by opening doors and assisting with luggage or other heavy items
- Assist members with handicap access when needed
- Direct traffic in the parking area as needed and assist guests in entering and leaving the parking lot
- Collect and accurately label keys belonging to guests to ensure their proper return
- Park guests vehicles in predetermined areas within the parking lot following all traffic laws
- Operate vehicles safely and responsibly
- Organize and file paperwork regarding guests vehicles and daily transactions
- Accountability and personal integrity are essential as the nature of the position allows access to a clients personal and private information
Requirements
- Proven safe driver and clean driving records are essential
- Ability to communicate professionally
- Customer service experience and friendly demeanor
- Ability to work in a standing position for hours at a time
- Ability to multitask and tend to several customers at once
- Experience driving vehicles with both manual and automatic transmission
- Organizational skills are necessary to quickly recall the location of vehicles and their appropriate keys
Compensation:This position is paid hourly plus tips.
Reports to: Manager of Security
