Payroll Specialist Accountancy Firm Dublin 2

Our client is a friendly medium sized accountancy firm based in Dublin 2. They have a varied client base and service a variety of SMEs and would specialise in the not for profit and entertainment sectors.
Due to business growth a new position has been created for a Payroll Specialist to join the team on a full-time basis.

About the role
The position will be responsible for
  • Processing weekly fortnightly and monthly payrolls for clients with 1 to 1250 employees.
  • Dealing with multiple payments and deductions including basic salary overtime pay holidays sick leave BIK pension employee health insurance and bike to work
  • Preparing workings and providing calculations as necessary
  • Being able to handle complex payrolls and client queries
  • Building and maintaining client relationships and taking ownership of multiple payroll entities

About you
The successful candidate will have
  • At least 3 years payroll experience - managing a larger payroll using Micropay would be beneficial
  • Advanced Excel Skills and knowledge of .csv file imports
  • Excellent problem solving/judgement ability and high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A team player with excellent communication and organisational skills
