Job Title: Shift Manager
Location: W12 7TU
Type: Permanent - Full Time
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: 13 per hour performance bonus
Job Purpose:
The Shift Manager will play a key role in overseeing daily restaurant operations ensuring smooth service excellent customer experience and compliance with food safety standards.
The role involves leading and motivating the team maintaining operational efficiency and supporting staff development within a vibrant Greek street food environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage day-to-day operations during assigned shifts.
- Lead motivate and support team members to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Ensure a warm welcoming and efficient dining experience for all guests.
- Maintain appropriate stock levels and oversee inventory management.
- Uphold the highest standards of food hygiene health and safety practices.
- Support onboarding and training of new team members to achieve performance standards.
- Handle any operational or customer issues promptly and professionally.
- Ensure smooth coordination between front-of-house and kitchen teams.
- Assist management in implementing policies procedures and performance goals.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in hospitality ideally in a team leader or shift manager role.
- Strong leadership organizational and communication skills.
- Positive proactive and hands-on attitude.
- Ability to multitask and perform under pressure.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
