Job Summary

Are you ready to join the forefront of technology as aService Manager in Netcompany

As a Service Manager you will be a key member of highly skilled agile teams that support mission-critical applications for EU institutions. You will define the final service(s) by managing service level agreements and ensuring services meet the business need. 

As a Service Manager you will: 

  • Negotiate Service Level Agreements and ensure that these are met
  • Ensure that all IT Service Management processes Operational Level Agreements and Underpinning Contracts are appropriate for the agreed service level targets
  • Monitor and report on service levels for performance and activity
  • Provide direction to the service team members
  • Manage the customers up to Service Management level
  • Coordinate the team to ensure that they meet the daily/weekly/monthly targets
  • Propose/arrange training for team members
  • Prioritize workload/timelines for the team and monitor the budget
  • Perform evaluation auditing and quality checking

Qualifications :

What would make you a fit for the role:

  • Degree in Information Technology Computer Engineering or other relevant fields
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a relevant role
  • Experience with a software development process methodology (e.g. RUP Scrum)
  • Experience with ITIL 4 Managing Professional/Strategic and quality procedures (e.g. ISO 10006:2003)
  • Solid knowledge of service management standards and methodologies
  • Technical knowledge on the project aspects usage of project management tools
  • Good reporting methods
  • Excellent command of English
  • Communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to apply high quality standards to all tasks and participate in multi-lingual meetings
  • Ability to work in an international/multi-cultural environment rapid self-starting and experience in working in team understanding the needs objectives and constraints of those in other disciplines and functions
