What this job involves:As a Facilities Maintenance Technician youll be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of building systems while maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements. Youll perform hands-on maintenance and repairs across mechanical electrical HVAC plumbing and life safety systems while providing exceptional customer service to building occupants.

What your day-to-day will look like:Safely operate and maintain facility systems in accordance with government and regulatory requirements Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC mechanical electrical plumbing and life safety systems Monitor equipment performance record readings and make adjustments to ensure optimal operation Respond to customer service requests and emergency situations in a timely professional manner Conduct safety inspections identify hazards and enforce safety protocols throughout the facility Coordinate with outside contractors and monitor work quality and pricing Maintain accurate records and assist with incident investigations as needed

Desired or preferred experience and technical skills: Universal Technician Certification for CFCs (or ability to obtain within 90 days) Experience with computer-controlled building automation systems Knowledge of thermodynamic electrical and mechanical systems Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Trade school education in HVAC electrical or related field Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Excellent customer service and communication skills

Required Skills and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 4 years of experience in electrical trade OR HVAC/refrigeration trade or equivalent combination of education and experience Valid U.S. drivers license with clean driving record Ability to work with proper personal protective equipment (PPE) Physical ability to perform frequent walking climbing bending kneeling lifting and overhead work
