We are seeking an experienced Deliver Coordinator to join our team. This role is responsible for planning scheduling and managing all deliveries of fabricated steel and materials from Kinsley Steel Groups fabrication shops to jobsites. This position plays a key role in ensuring timely efficient and safe delivery operations across multiple locations. The Delivery Coordinator will lead and manage the fleet of tractors trailers and CDL drivers within the Kinsley Steel Group while coordinating with Project Managers Shop Foremen and jobsite contacts to ensure on-time deliveries and optimal fleet performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate and schedule deliveries from fabrication shops to jobsites ensuring all loads are delivered on time and in accordance with project schedules.
- Communicate daily with Project Managers Shop Foremen jobsite personnel and the Operations team to align delivery needs with production and project timelines.
- Schedule and coordinate equipment or vehicle moves requiring the use of lowboy or Landoll trailers.
- Manage and track fleet utilization trailer assignments and rental costs; maintain accurate and up-to-date records of trailer usage and related expenses.
- Oversee all trucks and trailers to ensure they are properly inspected maintained and compliant with company and DOT standards.
- Review repair invoices and recommend necessary repairs services or replacements.
- Lead and manage Kinsley Steel Groups CDL drivers ensuring they operate safely efficiently and in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
- Ensure all loads are properly secured and meet safety and regulatory standards prior to transport.
- Obtain and manage oversize/overweight permits and coordinate escort vehicles when required.
- Coordinate and outsource deliveries that cannot be handled internally working with third-party haulers and freight brokers to ensure overflow loads are covered.
- Maintain effective communication with drivers and remain accessible during hauling hours to address any issues questions or emergencies.
- Monitor and report on fleet performance including safety maintenance and delivery efficiency.
- Assist with other fleet and transportation-related responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience in logistics coordination dispatching or fleet management (construction steel fabrication or heavy haul industry preferred).
- Strong communication skills - verbal written and digital (text email phone).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel Outlook and Word.
- Working knowledge of DOT regulations and permitting requirements for oversize/overweight loads.
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a focus on efficiency and safety.
- Must be available and accessible during active hauling hours.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience coordinating flatbed trailer moves.
- Prior management of CDL drivers or heavy haul operations.
- Knowledge of trailer maintenance and fleet repair processes.
- Familiarity with logistics software or dispatch management systems.
