Requirements:
CNA Certificate to practice in the State of Georgia. A minimum of 1 yr. of CNA experience. BLS Certification and a high school diploma or GED. Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs and have the strength to push and pull and stand for long periods.
Under the supervision of the Charge Nurse the CNA performs technical nursing duties and assists with other related duties involved in providing age-appropriate patient care: Assessment & triage and assistance as per guests needs.
CNA Competency Skill Requirements: Assessment and basic nursing care skills.
This contract requires the rapid deployment of qualified caregivers within 24 to 48 hours to support emergency response efforts during critical situations. The service areas are made up of 5 zones (159 counties withing the state).
Zone 1: Bartow Butts Carroll Catoosa Chattooga Cherokee Clayton Cobb Coweta Dade DeKalb Douglas Fannin Fayette Floyd Fulton Gilmer Gordon Gwinnett Haralson Heard Henry Lamar Meriwether Murray Newton Paulding Pickens Pike Polk Rockdale Spalding Troup Upson Walker Whitfield.

Schedule:
The department shall determine the shifts to be worked and shall not guarantee any minimum number of shifts or hours. Shift assignments may include 8-12hours shifts based on department need. Shifts are based solely on the staffing needs at the shelter and not the supplier staff preferences.
