Job Summary
Quality Assurance Nurse (RN or LPN)
Schedule:
Flexible hours 7:00 AM3:00 PM 8:00 AM4:00 PM or 8:00 AM5:00 PM
MondayFriday occasional weekends
Overview:
Seeking an RN or LPN to serve as a Quality Assurance Nurse supporting QA Staff Education and Infection Prevention. This role ensures regulatory compliance promotes quality improvement and enhances resident care through training audits and infection control oversight.
Responsibilities:
Implement QA policies conduct audits and monitor compliance
Review CASPER reports and develop QAPI improvement plans
Coordinate survey readiness and corrective action plans
Lead QA and Infection Control Committee meetings
Oversee infection prevention and tracking per CMS/CDC guidelines
Develop and deliver staff education and competency programs
Qualifications:
Active AZ RN or LPN license
DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card
Infection Preventionist Certification
Valid AZ Drivers License (travel required)
